JANUARY GUIDED MEDITATION
Fire Release

Begin by finding a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down, and gently close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths, allowing your body to relax and release any tension.

Now, bring your awareness to the present moment. Notice the sensations of your body, the contact between your body and the surface you're resting on. Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath, as it flows in and out naturally, without any effort.

As you continue to breathe, bring your attention to your the feelings around what you would like to not bring into this new year with you. These can be behaviors and reaction patterns, relationships that you do not want to continue to add energy into.

As you observe what to let go, remember that it is a natural process of growth and renewal. Trust that by releasing what no longer serves you, you create space for new and positive experiences to enter your life. Embrace the sense of freedom and liberation that comes with letting go.

Imagine yourself walking to a place in nature that you love - a beach or comforting forest. Bring your attention to a fire before you in the distance. As you make your way towards the fire, bring forth visually what you would like to purify and release as you bring it to the fire. Spend a few moments here giving your release offering and feeling the warm, lifting and comforting energy of the fire supporting and helping you on your journey.

Spend a few moments feeling into how your life will look and feel differently with this letting go. Take a moment to honor the courage you have to make changes in your life this year.

Take a few more moments to sit with this feeling of releasing what no longer serves you. When you are ready, gently return your attention to your breath, feeling the rise and fall of your chest. Wiggle your fingers and toes, gradually bringing your awareness back to the present moment.

As you go about your day, carry this sense of release and openness with you. Trust in the process of letting go, and be open to the new possibilities that arise as you create space for growth and transformation in your life.
