DRINKING FROM THE INNER WELL
Nourishment through the deeper connection within

We call to our inner Crone - the wisest version of us throughout lifetimes.

Behind the door there is a woman, a wise woman with stories to tell us. She has been the witch, the healer, the lover, the mother, the widow and the keeper of wisdom, passion and desire. She knows. She knows and she is within you to share.

Inner wisdom is the guidance that comes from within ourselves, and it can be accessed through meditation, quiet reflection, or by tuning into our inner thoughts and feelings. Here are some tips that may help you connect with your inner wisdom:

DEVELOP SELF-AWARENESS:
A deep understanding of yourself can help you develop your intuition.

TRUST YOUT GUT:
Listening to our intuition is the way the body speaks truth and gives guidance.

SEEK SOLITUDE:
Find peace by silencing the noise around you.

GIVE YOUR INNER KNOWING TIME AND SPACE TO SPEAK:
Listening takes time. Practice and lean-in.

GIVE YOUR “NEGATIVE SELF” EQUAL TIME AND SPACE TO SPEAK:
Learning to hold all of the versions of you

Calling forth our inner wisdom take patience and the connection to solitude. When we can find these moments for self-reflection uninterrupted, we can learn to listen to what our spirit is saying through our body. Journal practices are fruitful for the reconnection of listening deeper.

CALLING THE CRONE

Who is the crone?
She is the most dangerous, the most radical, the most revolutionary woman in existence. Whether in fairy tales or in consensual reality, the old one goes where she wants to and she acts as she wishes; she lives as she chooses. And this is all as it should be. And no one can stop her. Nor ought they try."

–Clarissa Pinkola Estés, PhD

Entering the terrain of wisdom occurs at any age. We sometimes step, sometimes stumble, and other times we are pulled into the territory of the Crone when the need for a deeper, larger understanding of our most meaningful path can no longer be denied—when the gifts hidden in our challenges must be brought forth.

WISDOM WORK

Let’s talk a deep breath, get comfy and sip on some warm tea. Let’s have a real, deep and juicy conversation.
When is the last time we have done this?

We can start by taking some personal inventory.

—-

How have/do you tended to your needs?

So you have a practice for discovery and regulating your emotions when they rise for your attention?

What is your current level of commitment within the relationship to you as a spiritual being?

Take some time and reflect on your answers above. Try starting a dialog with yourself to see how present and honest you can be with yourself. Notice how you meet yourself with authenticity.

This is a good path to walk to meet your inner wisdom keeper - the Crone.
