DECEMBER GUIDED MEDITATION

Begin by finding a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down, and gently close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths, allowing your body to relax and release any tension.

Now, bring your awareness to the present moment. Notice the sensations of your body, the contact between your body and the surface you're resting on. Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath, as it flows in and out naturally, without any effort.

As you continue to breathe, bring your attention to your mind. Allow any thoughts that arise to simply pass by, without getting caught up in them. Imagine your thoughts as leaves gently floating downstream, effortlessly drifting away from you.

Now, shift your focus to your emotions. Notice any feelings or emotions that arise within you. Mentally label them without judgment, acknowledging their presence without attachment. Just as leaves fall from trees, allow your emotions to come and go, passing through your awareness.

Take a moment to reflect on your life and the experiences you have had. Visualize yourself standing in a peaceful garden, surrounded by trees. Each tree represents a different aspect of your life - relationships, work, habits, beliefs, or anything else that comes to mind.

As you look at each tree, pay attention to how it makes you feel. Notice if there is a sense of growth, contentment, and alignment, or if there is a feeling of stagnation or unease. Observe the branches and leaves, and ask yourself if any of these aspects feel heavy or burdensome to carry.

Now, imagine a soft breeze blowing through the garden, gently rustling the leaves. As this breeze passes, it carries away any branches or leaves that no longer serve you. Allow them to be released, watching them float away, becoming lighter and lighter.

As you observe what to let go, remember that it is a natural process of growth and renewal. Trust that by releasing what no longer serves you, you create space for new and positive experiences to enter your life. Embrace the sense of freedom and liberation that comes with letting go.

Take a few more moments to sit with this feeling of releasing what no longer serves you. When you are ready, gently return your attention to your breath, feeling the rise and fall of your chest. Wiggle your fingers and toes, gradually bringing your awareness back to the present moment.

As you go about your day, carry this sense of release and openness with you. Trust in the process of letting go, and be open to the new possibilities that arise as you create space for growth and transformation in your life.
